Managed all hotel operations for a unique log cabin hotel.

I was a manager for a hotel in West Yellowstone, MT that offered guests nightly stays in their own individual log cabin.My duties were to supervise and take part in all work which included: front desk, reservations, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and grounds-keeping.  I made sure that all work was getting done and getting done perfectly since the hotel was considered a luxury hotel. Any complaints came to me and I dealt with the customer personally to resolve the issues at hand.  I also organized payroll for each employee every two weeks. Other responsibilities that were given to me personally was marketing and advertising for the hotel.  I was able to open up new areas of exposure for the hotel to broaden their client base and updated the existing advertising to a fresh look and feel.

Creator/Production Manager

Created the Utah sports webcasting website MySportsGuys.com which broadcasted high school athletics in the Utah 1A division.

I was the co-creator of the website as well as the production manager and technical supervisor during live broadcasts.During our beginning year we covered wrestling, girls' basketball, and boys' basketball in the Utah 1A division. In three weeks we went from a few viewers located in only northern Utah to over 100,000 viewers from all over the world.We also developed a program specifically designed to help fund the webcasting as well as provide schools with a way to fund their own athletic departments. The program allowed schools to sell advertising time during games to local businesses. With the help of this specialized program we were able to not only make the webcasting site profitable but create a huge support system for the site made up of schools and businesses all over the state of Utah.

I worked on a small team of three to create video tutorials of features located on Brigham Young University's library webpage.My job was to communicate with the specific library department in regards to the tutorial they wanted made, write a script for the narration of the video, create screenshots and video of working through a specific feature from the webpage, design graphics and effects to be placed on the video, then publish the video to several formats (dvd, web, ipod, etc.) Programs I used for this job was Camtasia, Photoshop, Jing, Powerpoint, and Word.

Two year church mission.

Spent two years in the Hawai'ian islands serving a church mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. All day, every day was spent sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serving the people of Hawai'i.  I learned how to communicate with people from all different backgrounds, cultures, languages, and beliefs.  It was in Hawai'i that I learned part of the Tongan language in order to communicate with the people and my missionary partner in the area. For eighteen months out of those two years I was placed into several leadership positions.  I was over as few as four missionaries in some areas and as many as twenty-five in others.  While in these leadership positions I had several responsibilities including group and one-on-one skill training, organizing and conducting meetings, and organizing specific area information to be sent to the main mission offices.

Also up-keeping property landscape through planting and daily watering of trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass; and clearing of old fencing, brush, and rocks for planting of new grass, trees, flowers, etc.
